“I have worked with Nancy Mitrano off and on since 2005 with a degenerative disks in the my Lumbar spine. I have found Nancy to be a very knowledgeable, intuitive and compassionate therapist and deeply committed to the care of her patients. She, and her staff have created a very warm and welcoming environment, which can be felt when you walk through the door, but I want share a more personal story about Nancy commitment to this patient care. Last year after all evasive non surgical treatments, were exhausted including physical therapy to alleviate the pain from 2 bulging disks in my low back. I had surgery to fuse the last two segments in my Lumbar spine. A week before the surgery Nancy emailed me to see how I was doing, and to send good wishes for the surgery. I was touched by her thoughtfulness and compassion even though I had not been in clinic for 2 months prior to the surgery, and while recovering home from the surgery for 3 weeks Nancy would email me on a regular basis to see how I was doing and to see if I needed anything. Nancy is only therapist I have ever worked with who followed up with me after medical procedure, and it was very touching knowing that she was carrying a full patient load during the week at her clinic; what a generous person. During the rehab process Nancy has incorporated some new and innovative techniques of core strengthening, along with standard strengthening exercises with ever changing home program, and each day my life becoming pain free. I continue to recommended Impact Physical Therapy to my Orthopedic Surgeon, my Primary Care Physician, and Nurse Practitioners and friends.”
