HoChin An is an experienced Physical Therapist with over 24 years of Orthopedic and Manual Therapy experience. He graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Architecture in 1995 and later went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2001.
He currently mentors the University of Washington Physical Therapy students as a clinical Instructor, and is generous with his time in allowing students that would like to become a Physical Therapist shadow him in the clinic. He is bilingual in Korean and English.
His treatment style is a compilation of his extensive clinical experience. His ability to treat and listen to each patient as the unique individual they are is very much a philosophy for HoChin. His expertise in Manual Therapy (hands on treatment) and looking for the root of the problem versus just treating the symptom is the foundation of all of his work.
His areas of expertise are:
- All aspects of the spine: low back, neck and mid-back pain.
- Post-operative orthopedic issues
- Vertigo or Vestibular Rehabilitation. All patients are seen immediately with this condition
- Gait training
- Sports related injuries
- Ergonomic assessments
- Movement analysis
HoChin spends his time with his family, playing golf, and supporting local teams in several sporting events.
