Carly attended the University of Washington and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. She then enrolled in an Orthopedic Clinical Residency program which furthered her clinical expertise in the field of rehabilitation. She became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2015.
Carly specializes in sport & spine rehabilitation including manual therapy, stabilization and body mechanics training, therapeutic exercise, and return to recreational and vocational activities. She believes strongly in the team approach to rehab and understands the importance of a whole-person focus. Carly is a certified running coach through UESCA and owns Side Hustle Running, offering individual and group run coaching. She is active with Fit4Mom North Sound and coaches Run Club for moms and their families. She tailors each person's training to their specific goals and abilities and does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Injury prevention and helping injured runners get back on their feet is her passion!
When she is not in the clinic, Carly is raising her young children with her husband, travelling to the Methow Valley to visit family, or out enjoying running, cycling, and cooking.
"I went into ImpactPT for an ankle problem that had plagued me for months. It left me basically unable to walk on it after playing a soccer game. Within minutes they had my diagnoses and then fitted my foot for orthopedic insole. After using the insole for a few weeks, there was a noticeable improvement after playing soccer or hiking. Within a couple of months there was absolutely no pain."
