Becky grew up in Minnesota and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Science from Winona State University. After graduation, she moved to Missoula, Montana to attend the Montana School of Massage. Following some time working as a licensed massage therapist, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana.
Becky is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist after completing courses through Klose Training. She also specializes in orthopedics and utilizes manual therapy, creating individualized exercises, as well as training in posture and body mechanics during treatment. She understands that not all injuries have a single solution, and enjoys working with people to create a personalized program that addresses all aspects of rehab in order to help them get back to work, recreation, and living life. She believes that education and knowledge are a large part of physical therapy and works to help a patient gain information and skills in order to take an active role in healing and implementing that into daily life.
Outside of the clinic, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, working on home and yard projects, drinking coffee, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
"I went into ImpactPT for an ankle problem that had plagued me for months. It left me basically unable to walk on it after playing a soccer game. Within minutes they had my diagnoses and then fitted my foot for orthopedic insole. After using the insole for a few weeks, there was a noticeable improvement after playing soccer or hiking. Within a couple of months there was absolutely no pain."
